Vision

We aim to contribute to Europe – especially Germany and Berlin – asserting itself in global competition in the field of Artificial Intelligence.

Our goal is modern AI entrepreneurship that strengthens a technologically sovereign society and enables a future in which technology is understood as a partner and not as a threat.

Mission

We support companies and founders in acquiring funding and developing innovative technologies.

In doing so, we relieve them of bureaucratic processes and accompany them as sparring partners in transferring new scientific findings into marketable applications.

Philosophy

We do not see ourselves as external service providers, but as temporary entrepreneurial partners.

We identify with the success of our clients and do everything we can to make their projects successful.

We think proactively, identify all potential opportunities, and create the best possible conditions for our partners to succeed in the market.

Not Boring History (DNDY History)

Pre DNDY – Application Number 1

An application submitted by the founder with (other) funding advisors lacking technological understanding leads to rejection because the innovation is not clearly communicated. The founder drafts the application himself and secures approval. Other startups ask for support: the starting point of the company’s founding.

Founding and First Coffee Machine

Founding in Berliner Strasse in the beautiful brick building. Coffee machine from the shared apartment. The foundation is laid.

First Projects

The application for multimodal matching systems for second-hand products receives generous funding. Likewise, an application for an AI architecture for detecting burglaries in videos. In parallel, we develop initial projects, including a visual AI for a deposit box system, with over 100,000 manually labeled training data, the effort of which is clearly noticeable.

Team Expansion

Magdalena, Hannah, and Nora join the team. The dreaded DNDY technology test was passed. The appearance of funding applications, linguistic elegance, and project organization improve dramatically.

Further Successes

For a Max Planck Spin-Off, we achieve the maximum funding amount twice in a row. In one project, we train AI with AI and significantly improve a translation model.

Expansion of Services

Research allowance becomes more prominent and frequently requested. Ideally combined with a Pro FIT or ZIM for the optimal funding mix. The large EIC and KMU-Innovativ applications follow.

Future

No, AI will not replace us. We review applications ourselves and often recognize within minutes if ChatGPT was the author. That usually doesn’t pass. According to our philosophy, AI should support and automate innovative solutions, but not replace thinking.
